The Aran Hostel’s reception is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. You can check in when it most suits you between these times. If you arrive before 2 p.m., your room may not be ready yet, but we will be happy to store your luggage.
When do I have to check out?
The time to say goodbye to us is 12 noon. If you need us to keep you luggage after you have left your room, feel free to ask us to do so.
We’re arriving when reception is closed. How can we get into the Hostel?
Don’t worry! If you plan to arrive after reception has closed, just drop us an email at email@example.com and we’ll have everything ready for your arrival:
1. We will send you a unique code to open the cabinet just next to the Hostel’s entrance to the email you provided when you made your booking.
2. In this cabinet you will find a card key for your room and important information on how the Hostel works to make your stay more pleasant and comfortable.
How is the Hostel laid out?
On the first floor you will find the shared rooms, which we hope you will use! You can use these rooms whenever you want during the set timetables. The only thing we would ask of you is that you make good use of them and respect the other guests at the Hostel.
The bedrooms are located on the first, second and third floors. The shared toilets and shower rooms are on the first and second floors, whilst the suites have a private bathroom.
How many shared rooms are there?
At the Aran Hostel we would like to make you feel at home, so we have set up shared rooms that will make your stay fantastic.
You will be able to use the chill-out room with a fireplace and sofas where you can relax after a day of adventures in Vall d’Aran. You will also be able to cook your best dishes or just heat something up in the shared kitchen and eat what you’ve made in the dining room.
We’re in a dormitory. Will our belongings be safe?
Rest assured, they will be! There are wardrobes in the rooms that you can lock to keep your belongings safe.
Do the rooms have windows?
All the rooms have windows from which you will be able to enjoy spectacular views of our surroundings. You can open the windows if you want to.
Can we keep food in the fridge?
Yes, you can keep it in an empty box (that you will find in the kitchen) to store it in the fridges.
Do we have to bring kitchen utensils?
No, but you are welcome to use all of the kitchen utensils that you need. Remember to clean them when you have finished using them for the other guests.
Is there Wi-Fi in the Hostel?
Yes, at the Aran Hostel you will be able to switch off from you daily routine, but if you want or need to connect with the outside world, you can pair all your devices using our 5G Wi-Fi network free of charge.
How does the ski store shed work?
If you are avid fans of winter sports, we have a store shed for skis. You can access it directly using you room card key.
Where can we park?
There is a free car park in front of the Hostel where you can park your vehicle.
